As part of the second phase of the Battersea Power Station masterplan, Battersea Power Station Development Company asked Echlin to provide an architectural and interior design response to the two flagship penthouses sited under the chimneys at the very front and rear of the Power Station. The Echlin schemes for these North and South Penthouses totalling 12,000ft² draw inspiration from the two original eras the Power Station was built in; the elegance and glamour of Art Deco and the more restrained and explorative Mid-Century Modern.
